The 2016 "tourist consumption and quality assessment survey" of Zhejiang Province was issued in Ningbo on the morning of March 13, in which Ningbo ranks No.1 among the surveyed cities in Zhejiang Province in terms of tourist satisfaction.
The survey, made by China Tourism Academy, covers 12 cities in the province and all the 5A scenic areas. With the multi-dimensional data in catering, accommodation and tourist agencies, it is an authorized summary of the tourist image of Zhejiang Province. The report shows that in 2016 the tourist satisfactory rate of the province is 76.82, and the comprehensive index of the satisfactory rate remained stable the whole year. Ningbo, Shaoxing and Zhoushan ranked the top three for the annual tourist satisfaction, while Hangzhou was the most popular city with the netizens.
On the same day, the "International Consumers' Rights Day Meeting" was held in Ningbo, where the awards were given to the advanced individuals or groups for protecting consumers' rights. Ningbo Tourism Quality Supervision office was honored as one of the seven winners of the "innovation award for safeguarding consumers' rights".
With the flourishing of the holistic tourism, Ningbo Tourism Quality Supervision Office has developed some innovative ways to carry out comprehensive supervision for tourism and to safeguard the consumers' rights with the special "Ningbo model". Over the past three years, the office has settled over 1200 complaints or consultations, retrieving over 1.3 million yuan for tourists.
